Aspect Property Manager - Pricing Options

The Aspect Property Manager is available only on a rental basis which includes support* and upgrades. This means there are no large front end costs, no nasty suprises if you need our support and no upgrade costs so your software can keep right up to date.

Standard	$80 per month	Unlimited number of peer-to-peer users.
Client/Server	$250 one time charge $80 per month plus $5 per month        per C/S terminal	Use C/S for high use terminals where good response is wanted. Use peer-to-peer for low use terminals where response is less critical. A mix of C/S and peer-to-peer is permitted. See peer-to-peer vs client/server below.
TXT Messaging	plus $5 per month	A separate SMS contract is required between you and the SMS service provider we nominate.
Web Pages	plus $20 per month	Produces a list of currently vacant, or soon to be vacant, properties. Export to your own web site. RealENZ members can export to either or both your own or the RealENZ web site.
Flying Start	Typically $200 - $300	See here for details of this service.
The monthly rental is paid by Automatic Payment. Prices apply to New Zealand and Australia, paid in the local currency and exclude GST. Elsewhere - Contact us for a price. Changes to suit your country considered.

* We seldom make any charges and you will always be advised of any likelihood of this happening. Where a charge may be made would be sorting out problems caused by incorrect entries or procedures and which are not caused by a failure of the Aspect Property Manager program. We also charge when requested to visit your site.

Peer-to-peer vs Client/Server

Simply put, these two terms describe the mechanism by which the database is accessed in a multi-user environment.

In a peer-to-peer network the Aspect Property Manager will run very quickly on the computer on which it is installed (the server) and the speed of the other (client) terminals will depend upon your network speed and traffic. In most cases this will be somewhat slower unless you have invested in a high speed network.

In a Client/Server environment the computer on which the Aspect Property Manager is installed (the server) pre-processes requests from the other computers (the clients) which significantly decrease the network traffic and increase the client terminal performance. The impact on the server's performance is often barely noticed because of the programming techniques employed.

We recommend you try peer-to-peer first. Then if you find the client terminal speed unsatisfactory you can upgrade to Client/Server.
